I thought it was a “free conference call.”

Filed under: Teleconferencing — admin @ 11:23 am

I am reviewing your site for potential use and wondering why there is a screen with a per minute charge for a proscribed amount of minutes. I thought it was a “free conference call.”

We basically have two options for people using our service.

First we have the regular plans where all callers call the conference bridge which is usually a long distance call. The phone number is the 712 area code. All these callers pay is their regular long distance rate. When using the Basic option all calling into our dial in number pay their long distance call charges to their respective phone carriers, Nocostconference Inc provides the bridge line free to use. Please visit this link to sign up for a Web control account http://www.nocostconference.com/free_conference_web.aspx

The second option is for you or your company to purchase toll-free minutes. In this case you and your callers call in using the toll-free number. This way only you or your company is charged for the phone call. The minutes are deducted at the rate of per minute per caller, meaning if you and one other person are on the conference bridge for 1 hour the total deducted minutes would be 120 minutes. The Toll Free minutes do not have a expiry date so you can use them as per your convenience till they finish off.
Please visit this link to sign up for a Toll Free account as well as the options & price at https://www.nocostconference.com/buynow.aspx There are 3 options 10000 Minutes – 3.9 cents per minute ($390) 5000 Minutes – 4.9 cents per minute ($245) 2500 Minutes – 5.9 cents per minute ($147.50). You can buy the minutes from us using your Master or Visa credit card.

European landline number?

Filed under: Teleconferencing — admin @ 9:59 am

We use frequently a US based dial in line 1 712 432 3900 access code 6643025. I now got the question. Can you dial into that conference using a European landline number?

Sorry we do not provide a local European number, we provide only one local US dial in number 712 432 3900 located in Iowa USA.

We both get connected and continue to hear music.

Rhonda: I just initiated a call with a test person. We both get connected and continue to hear music. It acknowledged I got through the enter pin (my moderator code I presumed) and I still hear only music.

Admin: As you are the only person on the call you hear music as soon as some one joins you on the call the music stops automatically.
